the Index race Saturday, here is
some info regarding the IHRA
Bracket Finals Team.
Per Freddy there is no entry fee for the points program. He wants EVERYONE to be able to be a part of the Bracket Finals. We are hoping to take two teams which means we can take 100 racers to the bracket finals in October.

THIS SATURDAY JUNE 26th is the first points race for the IHRA Bracket Finals points and the SSS points. Remember you must run a miniumum of 3 points races to qualify to go.
A few of you came by the tower and filled out forms to get into the points this last Saturday. I will be in the tower again this Saturday - hopefully by the time we start time trials - for those of you wanting to enter the points. You can also email me at

Having your emails is also a great way for me to be able to keep you up to date on any changes that are made.
You can also call me at 210-601-2819. If you get my voice mail just leave me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
I will need the following info: Name, address, phone number, Tshirt and jacket sizes, car # and class. If you plan on entering the Xpoints you will need to call Donna Harper with IHRA at 419-660-4219 to get signed up. If you don't have a current IHRA license you can also get that taken care of with Donna. Since a lot of you changed numbers for NHRA I am not sure if you will have to change them or not.
This year the track champions will be the ones running in the SSS race to go to Rockingham at the Bracket Finals. These people MUST have an X number. You will not be required to run that number on your car every week but you will have to have it on your license and on your car at the bracket finals. Remember you MUST have permanent numbers on your car at the finals so if you will have to change numbers it would be best to get that taken care of as soon as you can.
We will also be looking for help with ideas for decorating the stands. Any ideas and help will be greatly appreciated.
